Alex Rider Stormbreaker (book 1) by Anthony Horowitz, Book Review

Pages: 264

Published Date: 27th September 2017

Blurb: hey said his uncle Ian died in a car accident. Alex Rider knows that’s a lie, and the bullet holes in his uncle’s car confirm the truth. But nothing can prepare him for the news that the uncle he always thought he knew was really a spy for Britain’s top-secret intelligence agency.

Enlisted to find his uncle’s killers and complete Ian’s final mission, Alex suddenly finds himself caught in a deadly game of cat and mouse, with no way out.

My Review: What a fantastic action packed spy book.
It was so gripping I could not put it down, it was just amazing, I finished this book in a day and a half.
I love every element, from the characters to the plot and technology in the book.I also loved the mystery of how and why his brother died and why the goverment was trying to cover it up and say it was a car crash accident, when in reality he was murdered and Alex wants to find out why, and who did it. There was so many things I didn’t see coming and so many twists and turns which kept me hooked and wanting to know what was to come.
The ending was a huge shock and I cant wait to read the next book to see where Alex will go next and what his next mission will be.

My rating: 5 out of 5 stars
